If you're highly sensitive, you may have gotten very good at noticing everything that isn't okay. The tension in the room. The noise outside. The state of the world. The needs of the people you love. The things that need fixing. The things that could go wrong.
Sometimes, without even realizing it, your ability to feel okay becomes dependent on the world becoming okay first.
Once I finish this. Once things settle down. Once they understand. Once the house is organized. Once I know what's going to happen. Once the world stops being so completely bananas.
Then I'll rest.
Except the world doesn't really do that.
There will always be something.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't care. In fact, your sensitivity may be part of why you care so deeply in the first place. The question is whether you can care without living in a constant state of activation.
Can you notice what's happening without immediately having to fix it? Can you let something be unresolved and still feel okay in your body? Can you rest while there are still dishes in the sink, unanswered emails, difficult people, uncertainty, and things happening in the world that you cannot control?
That's a very different question from, "How do I make myself relax?"
It's more like:
Can I learn to feel at home in myself even when the world around me isn't settled?
And that takes practice.
Practice...
- A chance to notice what happens when you slow down.
- A chance to feel your body.
- A chance to experience what safety feels like from the inside, even when everything around you isn't perfectly safe, quiet, organized, or resolved.
That's what I'm going to be practicing with you in The Gentle Relaxation Reset, a 60-minute guided nervous system practice for highly sensitive people.
You don't need to already know how to relax.
That's kind of the point.
Because sometimes we desperately want to rest...
…but we don't actually know how.
Maybe you finally have some time to yourself, but your mind keeps spinning.
- You notice what everyone else needs.
- You check your phone.
- You start tidying something.
- You replay a conversation.
- You worry about what’s happening in the world.
But what if you didn’t have to wait for perfect conditions?
What if you could learn to create a little more safety within yourself, even when life is still life-ing?
That’s what I want to explore with you in:
For highly sensitive people who are tired of waiting for the world to calm down before they can rest.
This is a 60-minute guided nervous system practice designed specifically with sensitive people in mind.
I want to help you experience what it feels like to become someone who cares deeply without living in a constant state of activation.
And this isn't about adding another complicated self-care routine to your already-full life.
For one hour, I'll guide you through a gentle, body-based practice so you can begin noticing what helps your nervous system feel safer and more settled.
You'll probably leave feeling calmer. But more importantly, I hope you leave with a felt sense of:
Oh. I don't have to wait for everything outside me to be okay before I can begin coming home to myself.
The Gentle Relaxation Reset is $27.
