find balance, banish burnout

Hi, I'm Kate!

"Moving my body always makes things better for me. I have anxiety, and the tools that you give us, whether it's through breath or movement or mindset, help me deal with that.
-Meghan W.

I'm a therapeutic yoga teacher who helps highly sensitive, empathetic people take themselves off the back burner and create space in their life for self-care. Since 2002, I’ve empowered thousands of students to feel more grounded, focused, and relaxed.

My little neurodiverse family lives in a magical land called Brooklyn, AKA Lenape Territory.

I founded The Compassion Club to give you a soft landing where you can breathe, move, and heal in community.

Breaking cycles is hard, and we all need support. In this community you’ll be gently guided to become more present and courageous in your life and relationships.

FREE WORKSHOP

Wednesday 9/20, 11-12 EST via Zoom.

You'll move, breathe, balance, and meditate so you can focus your sensitivity and empathy inward. These qualities will help you create your unique balance of boundaries, support, and self-care.

Remember that you need to take care of yourself too...

find balance, banish burnout

"The online group has had so many benefits for me. To be able to practice in my own home brings me such comfort. To share this class with others has been therapeutic. I can be much more "involved" with the class because I feel uninhibited in my private space. Kate is an amazing teacher, guide, and friend. Her depth of knowledge about her craft is extensive. Her level of compassion for her students, as well as for the world, is inspiring."
-Kathryn H.

" I joined Kate's class with trepidation. My previous yoga experiences left me feeling like I wasn't getting it. These classes help me slow down and take care of myself. The best thing that happens is I fall asleep at the end. This is an incredible feeling. When I wake up I feel so at peace.
Honestly it's just the most wonderful feeling.
It doesn't happen every class, but when it does I consider it a success.
